Events Committee



	Committee Description: The strategic objective of the Events Committee is to assist in preparing signature events of the St. Catharines - Thorold Chamber of Commerce. This is an exciting opportunity for members to get involved in the Chamber by volunteering their time to carry out preliminary tasks involved in planning the events. Members of the committee will be under the direction of the Events Coordinator of the Chamber as the committee is not directly responsible for the events. Enrolment in the committee is a yearly commitment and the committee will meet once a month. Chamber events are excellent opportunities for team building and networking that benefit members and giving back to the community. Events that the committee will assist with include: Bonspiel : Wednesday, March 3, 2010 Fall Classic Golf Tournament: Monday, September 13, 2010 Business Achievement Awards: Thursday, October 28, 2010 Attendance at any or all events is not mandatory to be a part of the committee.
