Trendspire Canada, Inc. recently moved their offices from Niagara to downtown Toronto. With clients on both sides of the border, they are often considered international business consultants. Under the leadership of Dianne Clark Renton, Trendspire recently contracted with ARPA (Alberta Recreation and Parks Association). Busy innovating partnership development strategies, they are giving legs to sustainability and stakeholder engagement projects to empower rural communities in that province.
Trendspire has been instrumental in developing several online (digital) products which will be unveiled over the next year to a Pan-Canadian audience. Primarily, the new online (Recreation) Benefits Databank will seek to answer 'Quality of Life' questions to solve community challenges. This resource provides links to world-wide studies, exposing evidence of what actions may be taken to resolve personal, economic, environmental and societal issues. A serious resource for municipal planners and economic developers all over the globe, this resource is... in its infancy, worthy of attention by all sectors. In a related story, U of A Professor Tim Burton, chair of ARPA recently visited and announced the Benefits DataBank in Australia to a very supportive audience.
