St. Catharines - Ontario is expanding its successful Pay-for-Results Program, which will help the St. Catharines General Hospital (also known as the Queenston Street Site of the Niagara Health System) reduce ER wait times and ensure that residents of Niagara can get the emergency care they need, sooner, St. Catharines MPP Jim Bradley announced today.

Niagara Region has launched a new interactive website survey aimed at engaging residents on their Sustainable Niagara initiative which will see the development of a community vision for Niagara for the next 50 years. The website survey is accompanied by short videos explaining each of the draft Sustainability goals. After viewing each video you will be asked to answer a few short questions. The Region will be accepting feedback until August 23, 2010.

That's why Ontario passed legislation to strengthen protection for workers from workplace violence and to address workplace harassment. The new amendments to our Occupational Health and Safety Act (the Act) go into effect June 15, 2010, and will apply to all workplaces under the Act.
